Lawrence Dodson, owner and president with over 40 years experience, is one of the most knowledgeable and respected builders in Northern Virginia. He and his wife, Jean, started this company in 1990 and have been very successful. Their success is attributed to their "OPEN DOOR" policy for all employees and home buyers, and the pride and quality of workmanship built into each home. At some point during the building process home buyers will meet or talk with all the members of this two-generation family operation. In addition, Mr. Dodson is involved with every home sale and architectural change first-hand. You will often find Mr. Dodson on the job site; staying up-to-date with the construction progress of your home. Information on financing will be provided, in addition to the engineering, architectural, and construction services needed to build your home. Currently, we have house plans available, but you may choose a house plan from the many architectural firms provided on our website. (Click on the Floorplan tab for more information.) Your building experience should be an enjoyable one, so regardless of the size or price range you may be interested in, Dodson Homes, Inc., can construct the home of your dreams; for example, you may want to move a window, or place a recycling center in your kitchen or even put in a geothermal heating system - the choices are yours!
We are currently building custom homes on waterfront lots or off-water lots in the Lake Anna area in Virginia. However, we continue to provide building services in many areas located in Northern Virginia, such as our Beau Ridge subdivision in Front Royal located minutes from the Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge mountains.
